Background of the Coordination Office

The Educational Quality Assurance Coordination Office (EQACO) under the College of Education and Behavioral Science (CEBS) at Woldia University plays a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and behavioral science training programs. The office is dedicated to monitoring, evaluating, and enhancing the academic and administrative functions of the College. EQACO ensures adherence to national and international standards of excellence, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in teaching, research, and community service.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The coordinator leads the development and implementation of quality assurance strategies within the College, coordinates institutional quality assessments and evaluations, and oversees the development of quality assurance policies, manuals, and standards. Other responsibilities include preparing periodic performance reports, collaborating with university-wide quality assurance bodies for alignment, monitoring academic quality standards, and representing CEBS in external quality assurance engagements and accreditation evaluations.
